capacitatea sistemului nervos de a-\u0219i schimba structura \u0219i conexiunile func\u021bionale ca r\u0103spuns la experien\u021be noi, \u00eenv\u0103\u021bare sau chiar traumatisme. Imagineaz\u0103-\u021bi creierul ca pe o re\u021bea dens\u0103 de poteci prin p\u0103dure. Cu c\u00e2t mergi mai des pe acela\u0219i drum, cu at\u00e2t acesta devine mai lat \u0219i mai confortabil. Aceasta este obi\u0219nuin\u021ba ta. Dac\u0103 decizi s\u0103 o iei pe o cale nou\u0103, la \u00eenceput va fi greu: m\u0103r\u0103cini, iarb\u0103 \u00eenalt\u0103 \u0219i incertitudine. Dar cu fiecare pas urm\u0103tor, noua potec\u0103 devine mai vizibil\u0103, iar cea veche, nefolosit\u0103, se acoper\u0103 treptat de vegeta\u021bie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Acest proces are loc la nivelul <strong>sinapselor<\/strong> &#8211; punctele de contact dintre neuroni. C\u00e2nd repet\u0103m o ac\u021biune, conexiunea dintre anumite celule cerebrale se \u00eent\u0103re\u0219te. Acest fenomen este cunoscut \u00een neurofiziologie sub numele de Legea lui Hebb: \u201eNeuronii care se descarc\u0103 \u00eempreun\u0103, se leag\u0103 \u00eempreun\u0103\u201d. \u00cen\u021belegerea acestui fapt ne ofer\u0103 o libertate incredibil\u0103: nu suntem prizonierii experien\u021belor noastre trecute sau ai geneticii. Suntem arhitec\u021bii propriei noastre min\u021bi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"De_ce_varsta_nu_este_un_obstacol\"><\/span>De ce v\u00e2rsta nu este un obstacol?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Mul\u021bi dintre noi au auzit expresia: \u201eNu po\u021bi \u00eenv\u0103\u021ba un c\u00e2ine b\u0103tr\u00e2n trucuri noi\u201d. Din fericire, \u00een cazul oamenilor, aceasta este un mit. De\u0219i \u00een copil\u0103rie neuroplasticitatea este la cote maxime (creierul copilului absoarbe informa\u021bia ca un burete), creierul adult p\u0103streaz\u0103 capacitatea de <strong>neurogenez\u0103<\/strong> &#8211; crearea de neuroni noi, \u00een special \u00een hipocamp, zona responsabil\u0103 de memorie \u0219i \u00eenv\u0103\u021bare. Creierul nostru consum\u0103 foarte mult\u0103 energie, motiv pentru care caut\u0103 mereu s\u0103 economiseasc\u0103 resurse. Automatizarea ac\u021biunilor este metoda prin care se economise\u0219te energie. C\u00e2nd ac\u021bion\u0103m dup\u0103 un \u0219ablon, cortexul prefrontal (responsabil de luarea deciziilor) se odihne\u0219te, iar controlul trece la ganglionii bazali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pentru a schimba un obicei, nu este suficient doar \u201es\u0103 ai voin\u021b\u0103\u201d. Voin\u021ba este o resurs\u0103 limitat\u0103. \u00cen schimb, trebuie s\u0103 lucr\u0103m cu structura buclei. Pentru mine, ca persoan\u0103 care pre\u021buie\u0219te lini\u0219tea, medita\u021bia a devenit fundamentul pe care se construie\u0219te restul activit\u0103\u021bilor.
